I graduated with both a B.S. and Masters in Accounting from the University of Southern California, and then spent many years in the corporate world working for several Fortune 500 companies and receiving top notch business experience in financial services, data analysis, and marketing and branding. Wanting to build my own business and make an impact on a local scale, I discovered real estate was the perfect place to put my skills to good use.
I spent many wonderful years working for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty in Miami Beach, where I gained experience working on top producing teams, running the sales of a new construction development, receiving awards for sales volume, and selling all different kinds of properties from condos to townhomes, and from fixer-uppers to waterfront homes.
I now hold the highest qualification possible, principal broker of my own real estate brokerage, Sarah Furlong Realty.

I've had a broad range of life experiences - including living on a buddhist monastery in the jungles of Thailand, moving across the country multiple times for my husband’s surgical training, and unexpectedly spending months in the ICU when our son was born - all of which has cultivated a unique perspective on what makes a quality life. I enjoy leading discussions with my clients about how a home can impact your life and what is best considering your personal circumstances.
I was raised here in Portland, Oregon, and while I lived in several major metropolitan cities and spent time traveling around the world, I found there's no other place I'd rather live, work, and raise my family than the Pacific Northwest, and the most fulfilling way to apply my skills and experience is to help my clients make the important, life-changing choice of where to call home.
